There was around 100 people involved in the gang brawl at the showing of the blue story, whereby machetes where brought to the huge brawl and there were children present as the movie frozen 2 film was about to commence and this caused a lot of distress for the innocent civilians. The brawl was composed of teenagers and the brawl left some police officers with injuries although minor. The vue cinema has now as a result of the incident has pulled the film blue story from being showed in all of their 91 vue cinemas, which has caused its own controversy and faced criticism by the public. Knife crime is a huge problem in the UK and the two biggest cities in the UK with the highest knife crime rates are London being number 1 and Birmingham coming in 2nd, and since Birmignham has 8 universities with approximately 80,000 students in the city, knife crime and gangs are something students have to be very aware of and so I spoke to three students one male and 2 females. I spoke to them to hear their perspective as a boy and as a woman in a big city and how it makes them feel and their possible different attitudes towards knife crime and gangs affecting them being young men and women.

(This was written in Nov 2019 but due to losing my website I am now re-posting the story)
